Autism Society Canada (ASC) actively promotes Autism Spectrum Disorder as a research priority in Canada, primarily through the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).
A group of more than sixty researchers, clinicians and parents led by Dr. Jeanette Holden in Kingston, Ontario. They are working together to better understand:
- the causes, origins and effects of autism spectrum disorders, and
- the effects of treatment of persons with an ASD or a related disorder.
