Outstanding individual in one of the Centre’s adult or family literacy programs who has shown a commitment to his/her own learning and/or that of his/her child (ren). An individual being nominated from the adult literacy program must have been active in the program for at least six (6) months. An individual being nominated from a family literacy program must have participated in more than one Centre for Family Literacy program.

Solicitor General and Public Security uses grants as a means of distributing funds to eligible organizations who carry out activities in support of the priorities and goals of the Ministry. Organizations requesting funds must be registered charities, operate within the Edmonton area, support goals that are congruent with those of the League and have a specific and defined use for the funds requested. Requests will not be considered for operating or administrative expenses, salaries, funding drives, political campaigns or individuals. The PwC Leadership Grants Program provides grants of up to $2,500 to support the leadership development of individuals at registered charities across Canada.
